Here's another really long walk. Especially on Sundays, I really like to take long walks. It seems to be a common Sunday activity...I couldn't think of a much more enjoyable way to pass a sunny Sunday afternoon. We ate our little picnic lunch on the log across the path.
The Suisse countryside is covered in marked pedestrian paths, connecting the various towns, and offering the estimated walking time between them. Today, we passed through eight.
Late in the day, we found ourselves down near the river trails where there is a large reserve. The fading sunlight was beautiful on the fields. Luckily corn chowder and pumpkin pie are waiting for us at home after another long trek.
