Today we had the honor of taking Maura, Emma, and Maggie for their last hike in the French Alps (for now at least). The girls are becoming strong mountaineers, scrambling up steep rocky climbs, and sprinting over the grassy sections. We stopped for a picnic lunch on the summit of Prarion, but the girls were eager to keep hiking, so we did.

We made another trail loop, mostly grassy, and soon the girls broke into trail running, leaving us to catch up.
Rewards for everyone for an awesome day of hiking (beer and ice cream, a few raindrops and a view).
We couldn't be this close to Chamonix without one more MBC burger. By the time we were eating, the threatening clouds had completely disappeared for a clear and glorious send off.
