One of my favorite things to do during the summer is to picnic with a bottle of wine in the vineyards. Sunday afternoons are great, and evenings are refreshing while the the sun hovers above the mountains, staying light late, so you just can't go inside. Summer nights, we walk a bit in the vineyard, and pick a patch of grass for our picnic dinner, or share a bottle of local aligoté or cerdon in the fading daylight.
