Basel’s getting ready for Fasnacht which lasts 72 hours beginning about 72 hours after we leave. We'll just miss it...maybe next year. We spent the day popping in and out of shops, cafe in a cathedral, multiple meals, and enjoying the preparations for the upcoming event: masks in the windows, bands practicing, and puzzle piece decorations before our evening train ride back to Geneve.
