We might be a little crazy here, but today we went on a hunt for Derek's lost sunglasses on a leaf covered trail in the Jura. We narrowed their potential location to a half mile stretch of super steep, rocky trail where he dropped them at least once and posed for a photo without them before we reached the end of the section. We set off to retrace or steps, sifting through the deep leaves up the trail. We checked the nearest signposts in case they were found and left there, but we came out the top of the narrow trail empty handed.
As long as we had made the climb, we might as well continue and enjoy the ridge for a while... and take the long way down through the clouds...but we returned to the car just in time to avoid the dark and race over to join friends for dinner.
