After an early run with Dama (an eager canine companion), it was simply too beautiful to leave the finca. We drank plenty of coffee and lounged by the pool with wafting curtains for the morning. It would be so easy to stay right there, but since it is our first time on the island, we pried ourselves away to do a little exploring. We drove north to Deia (after an accidental drive through Palma on the way).
All we saw of Palma (above).
We walked down from the town to a small cove to join the sun bathers on the rocks.
After some time in the cove, we climbed back up to town, wandered the streets, and drank fresh squeezed orange juice.
We made one more stop for more wandering in nearby Valldemossa before returning to the south for the evening.
