ski: morzine

Still going strong in the ski season, this morning we headed out to Le Gets, and spent most of the day at Morzine. We're hoping for a really clear, sunny ski day as we're getting closer to spring, but the snow has been fresh, the slopes have been quiet, and it hasn't been too cold - so no complaints here. A bonus while riding the lift- we saw a pair of wall creepers on the rocks.  

ski: sunday at avoriaz

Today we headed back up to Avoriaz. Now that lessons have finished, the club organizes outings with transport and lift ticket, so Derek and I are finally skiing together. About a meter of fresh snow had fallen overnight- conditions were amazing and exhausting. It snowed most of the day, so we were constantly making new tracks. This will be a ski day that we compare all others against- a true powder day.
