Today we are continuing Saturday hikes in the Alps with a hike up to Lac d'Anterne and looping back down past Col du Laouchet and Lac Pormenaz. We made a quick spin around Lac Vert and then started the climb. The leaves are beginning to change to yellows and mauves and greens have faded and browned.
It was windy at the pass, but a nice drop down to the lake, which was frozen and covered in fog when we approached from an opposite trail last spring.
