Laura and I had a nice run at Le Môle so we thought we should go back with two more girls and three dogs. It was a busy day on the trail...not the way we go up, but the main route back down. We did a few speed bursts on the ascent and we all raced down fast, but not before a nice picnic break by the summit.   

le suet to mont lachat

Today to the Aravis! Starting in town, from Saint Jean de Sixt we made a quick climb up to Le Suet (1863m). After a pause to enjoy the view, we continued across to Mont Lachat (2023m).

We sat a while at Mont Lachat and watched the paragliders overhead. We got a bit off track- actually our gps tracks were a bit off themselves- on the way down. Moving over the sharp karst was slow and energy consuming, but finally we attached to the main trail and it was quick moving from there. A good 18km, 1400D+, and a some hours for today.
