YEA! It's time for staycation! We've got lots of hiking, swimming, relaxing, and sight-seeing close to home planned for the next week....starting NOW, with bbq on the patio and a stroll through the sunflower fields of Challex.

swiss national day
Happy Swiss National day. I celebrated by taking a 10 mile walk through several Swiss border towns before packing a picnic dinner to have with Derek in the vineyard.
Luckily the dark clouds passed over and left a clear, cool evening for wine, bonfire, dancing, and fireworks in Satigny with friends Swiss soup.
Tuckered out between fireworks and dancing.
