I turn 30 today…wow, that’s an age I’ve never even thought about, but here it is. So, we’re taking the day to go skiing at Les Contamines in the French Alps. It’s a beautiful sunny day at high elevation and our faces are sunburnt. To a new decade!

 

moving

It's moving time. Things have been super busy getting out new maison and finding a renter for our Thoiry apartment. We are headed just a little further down the valley to a town called Challex, still in France and bordering the Swiss vineyards. I am so excited to gather some used furniture and get settled in. We will be without internet...for an undisclosed amount of time, but I'll stop by CERN once in a while to check in with the rest of the world. Full town tour and house pics coming...soon-ish. For now, the view from the bedroom windows.
